Black and White

timeless and tough

Black and white is criminally underrated.

My professional point of view after 15 years is: if you can’t make it work in black and white you’re wasting your time with colour.

Black and white makes you really work with your lighting and composition. Once the sluttery of colour is stripped off what are you left with? Light and composition.

Man, and when you nail it in black and white you really nail it. It’s timeless.

Colours can fade but tones always remain.
